With heavy hearts, we remember David M. Clayton, age 43, whose life was tragically lost in a motorcycle crash on Sunday evening in Eden Township.
David, of Bucyrus, was traveling southbound on State Route 100 near State Route 67 when his motorcycle left the roadway during a curve, struck a ditch, and overturned. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
His sudden passing has left family, friends, and the Bucyrus community in deep sorrow. At 43 years old, David’s life held countless memories, relationships, and moments that now carry even greater meaning in the wake of his loss.
He will be remembered not only for the circumstances of his passing, but for the life he lived and the connections he formed with those around him. To his loved ones, he was a son, a friend, and someone whose presence mattered deeply in their lives. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
In moments like these, communities come together in grief and reflection, honoring the life that was lost while holding close the memories that remain. The support of family, friends, first responders, and neighbors becomes a source of strength during such a painful time.
